Betsy Rose started playing piano/guitar and writing music from the time she was a young girl growing up in Xenia, OH. After graduating from Ohio University, Betsy spent nearly 10 years in Nashville, TN, performing locally there and producing an independent album of her original songs. She has been involved in several musical projects in Nashville, Columbus and Cleveland, and continues to write music that has evolved to her own special blend of folk/country. With TWO FOR THE ROAD, she has the opportunity to provide the harmonies she loves and cut loose to show her range in covering songs from Dolly Parton to Ozzy Osborne!

"I can honestly say I'm having more fun performing now than I ever have before" she says. "Our acoustic take on some of my favorite tunes makes even older songs feel fresh and authentic. It's great to still be doing what I love, and I think that comes through in our performances."

Jimmy Lee grew up in a musical family with his father and uncles playing old time country tunes every weekend. However,  he was too busy playing video games until the late age of 17 when he then decided to secretly teach myself to play guitar. A few years later he surprised everyone at one of my dad's gigs by playing some blues that everyone loved. He influenced deeply by my childhood memories of my father and uncles' country bands, as well as a strong preference for the blues and artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton.
